Required Vaccinations for Cat Boarding

Annapolis Cat Hospital Vaccine Draw

One of the most important factors to consider when choosing a cat boarding facility is vaccination requirements. A reputable facility will require all cats to be up to date on their vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of all animals in their care. Below is a list of the required vaccinations your cat must be up to date on to board at our facility. To prevent the spread of parasites, all cats must be free of internal and external parasites. If your cat is found to have parasites while boarding, we will provide the necessary parasite treatment at the expense of the owner. If your cat needs any of our required vaccines before boarding, we are more than happy to schedule an office visit with one of our veterinarians. Vaccines must be administered at least 10 days before your cat’s boarding date.

Cat Vaccinations:

  • Rabies
  • FVRCP

What to Bring & Not to Bring

  1. Please do not bring bowls, bedding, or toys. We will provide bowls and bedding for your pet. You also do not need to bring a little box, however, if your cat uses special litter, please bring enough for their stay.
  2. Please bring sufficient portions of your pet’s typical food. Changing food suddenly can cause stomach upset. If you can’t or forget to bring their food, we will provide dry Hills Science Diet Maintenance and/or Proplan Chicken and Rice at no additional cost.
  3. If your pet is on any medication, please bring in the original packaging, and make sure our team is aware of your cat's medical requirements when you book their boarding stay.
